STEAM Club provides hands-on and engaging experiences through interactive experiences, field trips, labs and college tours. This program augments traditional school curriculum to provide students with meaningful real world experiences.
Get ready to see coding at its finest! The indoor entertainment center features indoor go-karts, laser tag, bumper cars, amusement rides, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf, and much, much more! Prior to the excursion, students will receive a tour of Lewis University and complete a STEAM Activity with our STEAM innovators!
It's tech Tuesday with After the Peanut! Join us to learn about drones, virtual reality, tour the campus of Lewis University and create your own GIZMO! The fun doesn't end there! Students will participate in Plainfield Library’s Gizmo and Gadget day where they can test classic tech toys and gadgets as well as new ones!
Fly high with ATP at iFly! We are taking STEAM education to new heights! Students will enjoy state standard aligned curriculum by grade through hands-on lab activities, an immersive physics demonstration, and the thrill of flight. Students will also participate in a campus tour of Lewis University aviation building and meet a pilot!
It’s a full day of TikTok creation and a behind the scenes look of a real-world multicultural marketing firm. Students can practice their skills and learn all the talent it takes to go viral! This excursion includes a tour of the theater at Lewis University, where students will learn improv to help improve their creation skills!
