Through our STEAM programs, you will explore innovative STEAM opportunities and cutting-edge training with distinguished STEAM educatos, business owners and community organizations. Each offering, no matter the length or format, will immerse you in an interactive and collaborative learning environment. You will gain tools and strategies need to address current best practices in STEAM education.A bonus is the lifelong connections you will make with other leaders in education.

Participation in our Full STEAM Ahead program begins your journey by exploring a multifaceted approach to ensuring students are receiving the most engaging and innovative STEAM education. Participants will join a network of educators never assembled before who will become lifelong collaborators for year to come.

Founded in 2014 and inspired by George Washington Carver, After the Peanut champions STEAM education to empower communities through knowledge and innovative, real-world learning experiences.
Our STEAM Explorers program provides engaging experiences through hands-on opportunities, field trips, labs, and college tours. This program augments the traditional school curriculum to provide students with meaningful real-world experiences in STEAM and the businesses behind STEAM products. These programs are open to 3rd-8th grade students.
Summer STEAM Camp energizes youth and immerses them into engaging, innovative and forward thinking STEAM experiences. Campers can choose from unique STEAM topics each summer! Each week offers hands-on, real world, active STEAM activities for ages 7-15. Currently we are hosting our Summer STEAM Camp at the state of the art campus of Lewis University Campus and Joliet Junior College in Romeoville, IL. 2025 Summer STEAM Camp Topics will be released in March 2025.
